We wish the whole world a Happy New Year from Earth's orbit!

The holiday message will be broadcast from the SamSat-Ionosphere satellite (call sign RS75S) from December 25, 2025, to January 7, 2026. Radio amateurs and observers who successfully receive the signal will be eligible to receive a personalized electronic commemorative card. The holiday beacon will be transmitted automatically at six-minute intervals, with each message having a unique number. Cards will be issued only to those who are the first to confirm reception of a given beacon message (multiple operators cannot receive cards for the same message).

The SamSat-Ionosphere satellite transmitter operates on 437.4 MHz in FSK1k2 AX.25 mode. The detailed conditions for obtaining a commemorative card are published on the project's website, the address of which will be included in the holiday message.
