The Summer Space School of Department of Inter-University Space Research is one of the Samara University successful educational programs.
Every summer 40 successful students and young researcher pupils attend a two week-long residential summer school. The programme of School is made up of a mix of lectures, labs, and workshops on a space theme and it's delivered by academics and researchers from the Department of Inter-University Space Research.

School participants, while in Samara, have the opportunity to visit unique museums: Museum of Aircraft Engines; Space Museum; Information Reception Center; Technical Museum of Togliatti; Zhigulevsky reserve |
Since its inception in 2003 about 800 participants from universities from different countries have taken part in the Summer Space School. |
During the classes, a visit to the center of nanosatellite technologies is provided. This is a unique laboratory intended for comprehensive research of nanosuptniks. |
