The unit is designed for controlling the external
magnetic coils integrated in solar panels. Onboard
equipment compatible with architecture SamSat 2.0
and provides cable free connection.
The connection of the coils made via the pressure
connector. In the clamping connector provided con-
tacts for magnetic coils, solar cells, sensors, light and
temperature.
The proper connection of all connectors is ensured
by the proper assembly.
The generated magnetic field is controlled via
PWM independently for the two axes. The desired
value of duty cycle and frequency of PWM signal sup-
plied from the control unit via the main bus via I2C
interface.
MCU collects information from each solar panel
sensors automatically. This allows to read all axis
state from uniform I2C device.
A PWM signal automatically switched off if I2C
time out occurs.
